Last week was filled with celebrations at work as we wind down on 2016 and approach the Holidays. This is always a special time around the office as we focus on the good times and enjoying each other’s company rather than being bogged down by the stresses that come with any job.
Tuesday a group of women from my division volunteered with StreetWorks to host a holiday party for homeless teens & young adults. I’m very active with volunteering, but I had never done an event like this before. Usually I work with cancer patients or animals or doing this like packing meals to be delivered to the sick or elderly. It was a little scary to see how some of these people live but also enlightening to gain some perspective on just how lucky I am at 23 to have a home, a family and a job.
Wednesday our division hosted an Ugly Sweater Breakfast to get the team into the Holiday Spirit and allow everyone to mingle and celebrate a very successful year! We had a donut bar, breakfast wraps, yogurt, fruit, coffee & hot cocoa before judging for the ugly sweater contest and doing a mannequin challenge!
Thursday night CK hosted our Christmas party at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. Absolutely stunning! This was a beautiful venue to toast some champagne and dance the night away!
Friday was the PVH Holiday party up on Park Avenue! By this point I was exhausted from the week! There was a live band, delicious food (steak and mac and cheese were definitely favorites!) and a lot of mannequin challenge action!
A week of celebrations, food, dancing and love with the people who have become my second family ❤️️ Cheers to an amazing week!
Wishing you lots of love,
